Ricardo Esteban Rodriguez, MD

Dr. Rodriguez studied his undergraduate degree at Columbia College of Columbia University and later at UMDNJ-Rutgers Medical School. He completed his residency with specialty training in gastroenterology at St. Luke’s Roosevelt of Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Rodriguez is also board-certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology.

Dr. Rodriguez was born in Cuba and moved to the USA as a young boy, following in his father’s footsteps by serving the Eastern Union County community. He is committed to offering comprehensive, high-quality and compassionate care to his patients and is well known and respected in the community. His interests include colon cancer screening, biliary, liver and pancreas disorders, peptic ulcer disease and inflammatory bowel disease. As Medical Director of the Amazon Health Project, Dr. Rodriguez has traveled to the Amazon River basin of Peru, providing free care to indigenous communities of the region. He has also been listed as one of NJ’s Top Doctors in a recent publication.
