Prakriti Merchant, MD

Dr. Merchant is dual board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. She graduated from St. George’s University Medical School and subsequently completed her Internal Medicine training at Norwalk Hospital, CT. She obtained her Gastroenterology and Hepatology degree from Norwalk Hospital and Yale New Haven Medical Center.

Dr. Merchant currently has privileges at Overlook Hospital, Summit NJ and Trinitas Medical Center, Elizabeth NJ.

She is a member of the American Gastroenterology Association, American College of Gastroenterology, American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and American Medical Association.
