Dr. Khan studied at the University of the Philippines for her undergraduate degree in Medical Educations and at the University of the Philippines, College of Medicine. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Harvard Medical School Affiliate in Massachusetts and her Fellowship in Gastroenterology at SUNY Stony Brook in New York.
Dr. Khan is a gastroenterologist and hepatologist in New Providence, New Jersey. She grew up in several countries and knowing several languages, including English, Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi, Tagalog, Arabic and Kurdish, due to her father being a diplomat. Her love for academia is second only to her passion for medicine. She is active in both clinical and academic sectors and is praised for both regularly.
