Colonoscopy

A colonoscopy is a safe, fast, and minimally invasive procedure, in which a trained physician uses a special instrument called a colonoscope to view and treat the gastrointestinal (GI) tract; specifically the colon and rectum.

Colon Cancer Screening

According to the American Cancer Society, colon cancer is the second leading cause of cancer-related death in the United States.

Endoscopy

An endoscopy often referred to as an GI endoscopy or upper endoscopy, is a minimally invasive procedure used to evaluate and treat the gastrointestinal tract.

Flexible Sigmoidoscopy

Similar to a colonoscopy, a Flexible Sigmoidoscopy occurs when a physician needs to appraise and treat the lining of the rectum and the large intestine

Upper Endoscopy

Sometimes referred to as upper GI endoscopy, esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD), or panendoscopy, the upper endoscopy occurs when a physician needs to appraise and treat the lining of the upper part of the patient’s GI tract; including the esophagus, stomach, and duodenum.
